Hello out there, how are you? I haven't always asked this recently because I am still not sure if it is wanted. But rest assured I am sending you positivity every day no matter where you are. And I hope that it helps in dealing with everything.
A couple of years ago, I took part in the beta reading of a book by a British journalist who lives with depression for many years. Her name is Rachel Kelly. The book I beta read is "Singing in the Rain - 52 Practical Steps to Happiness". It is a brilliant book that gives you an idea per week how to care for your wellbeing. These are practical things that haven't only been tried out by Rachel Kelly but also by many of her readers.
Last week I read chapter 26 which is called "Celebrations". She wrote that now that we are adults we don't celebrate our achievements. With achievements I do not mean a high paying job or buying a house. It is all those small things like getting up in the morning and being able to pay the bills every month. Of course, it could also something big.
She suggested every day to find 5 things that we have achieved and to write them down. She also invited us to do it with a friend or two. This time everyone can list 3 things they have achieved and they can congratulate each other. I like that idea very much. So, I invite you to share three things you have achieved today.
Today I achieved two scheduled blogposts, doing a little weeding in the garden and staying awake even though I had hardly any sleep. Congratulations to all of us!!!!
the little or
big things anymore
that we are achieving.
Hey! You! Congratulations!
Sing and dance - you are so worth it!
Do not forget to pat your back now.
Happy Wednesday to you all despite everyhing!
(I publish these posts too on Carol Anne's Therapy Bits blog)

Just one more thing before you go: The hospital that is treating me for cancer is fundraising for a dedicated breast cancer unit which would allow same-day diagnosis and better premises for patients and staff.
Please, if you can spare a little money hop over to their Just Giving Page and give as little or much as you can. Or share the page on your social media. Your support means a lot to me! Thank you very much.
