Hello out there, dear readers! I am sending you sunny Saturday greetings. Hopefully, you can enjoy it despite everything.
It is windy here in North Norfolk and feels a little like autumn. Very, very strange. I am spending my day blogging, watching tv and doing some housework. My energy has gone back to nearly normal and I am extremely grateful that so far I got away with only minor side effect to chemotherapy.
I have to admit I am grateful for a lot of things: that my treatment keeps going despite the virus. That they found cancer early. That so many lovely people support me in many different ways. That we have a garden to potter in when I feel like it. Books. My blogs. You blog readers!!!!!
A couple of years ago I made it a habit to find a couple of things in the morning and in the evening that I am grateful for. It is a good habit because as a habit it keeps reminding you when you are down in the dumps that there is always something good in your life. I can only encourage you to take it up :-)
a simple habit
gives life a beautiful glow
that lasts in the dark
Just in case you wonder: this poetic form is called a Shadorma and is a Spanish syllabic poem form. I discovered it today because I wanted to edge away from my haiku inspired poetry. Find out more about it here.
Happy Saturday to you all despite everything.
Please stay a little longer and discover music and good news on The Bee Writes... at Wordpress.
You are more into photography? Please find my photo posts for Wordless Wednesday on Bee Wordless... on Blogger. Thanks!
Just one more thing before you go: The hospital that is treating me for cancer is fundraising for a dedicated breast cancer unit which would allow same-day diagnosis and better premises for patients and staff.
Please, if you can spare a little money hop over to their Just Giving Page and give as little or much as you can. Or share the page on your social media. Your support means a lot to me! Thank you very much.
