Hello out there, how are you? Please come in, have a seat, a mug of your favourite hot beverage and relax. It is so lovely to have you with us!
It is still cold and rainy in North Norfolk. I can't stop thinking about that rude German saying: " the worst winter I've ever experienced was the summer in Great Britain".
It's a good time for a preferred hot beverage and a chat may it be online or face to face. I have to admit that I won't change my "(not) going out" habits any time soon. I don't care what the government advises. In March, I went into lockdown a week earlier than the UK because I didn't want to risk my cancer operation by accidentally picking the virus up.
Since then, I have only seen my husband, nurses and doctors. Also delivery drivers but only from afar. And no, I am not particularly anxious about going out. I think we don't know enough yet about how the virus spreads nor who has it, so I am not risking my health or my husbands.
Not seeing his children for such a long time would be for nothing if I did. That's not gonna happen.
So please enjoy a virtual cuppa with me and another try at a haiku.
rain clouds lingering
over our heads and souls
coffee in my hand
Happy Thursday to you all despite everything.

You are more into photography? Please find my photo posts for Wordless Wednesday on Bee Wordless... on Blogger. Thanks!
Just one more thing before you go: The hospital that is treating me for cancer is fundraising for a dedicated breast cancer unit which would allow same-day diagnosis and better premises for patients and staff.
Please, if you can spare a little money hop over to their Just Giving Page and give as little or much as you can. Or share the page on your social media. Your support means a lot to me! Thank you very much.
