Hello out there dear people of the blogosphere, how are you doing? I hope you and yours are well. If life is hard, then know you are in my prayers and thoughts if you do not care for prayers :-) .
It's taken me a while to create a poem for George Floyd who passed away because of police violence in the United States. I do not think that it is only a political question.
I believe the reason why this policeman's actions and the outcome resonate with so many people is that he acted deeply inhumane, and we all can feel the pain caused.
Since I have seen these pictures, I try to figure out how much I know about how racism really works. I have changed my reading list to black and BAME authors besides the books I am already reading. This is to educate myself and see where I need to change.
I pray daily that this is the beginning of the change we need so all of us can live in peace and to their full potential.
I can't breathe.
Three words that shocked me!
Will I change?
Happy Tuesday despite everything. I believe change is not only fueled by anger but also by hope and happiness. Take good care of yourselves.
(I also post these poems on Carol Anne's Therapy Bits)

Just one more thing before you go: The hospital that is treating me for cancer is fundraising for a dedicated breast cancer unit which would allow same-day diagnosis and better premises for patients and staff.
Please, if you can spare a little money hop over to their Just Giving Page and give as little or much as you can. Or share the page on your social media. Your support means a lot to me! Thank you very much.
