Hello my dears, how are you rocking and rolling? I hope it's both and that you believe in yourself. You deserve it!
I am listening to a lot of music from Africa recently. Not sure how I stumbled over Wiyaala from Ghana or Sona Jobarteh from Gambia. Both are incredibly creative musicians and their music simply makes me want to dance and be happy.
Then I remembered that I wrote a poem about Africa in 2011 so I'll share it with you today:
my unknown sister!
by brute prejudices.
by your own
daughter of the sun!
Let your concealed
light of wisdom shine.
Let your agile
beacon of song dance.
in a world
inspired by Wayne Vissers "Shine Africa Shine!"
A world united seems further apart than ever. But I won't give up on this dream that one day we'll consider each other sisters and brothers no matter where we come from, which colour our skin has and who or what we believe in.
May you have a blessed Sunday!

Just one more thing before you go: The hospital that is treating me for cancer is fundraising for a dedicated breast cancer unit which would allow same-day diagnosis and better premises for patients and staff.
Please, if you can spare a little money hop over to their Just Giving Page and give as little or much as you can. Or share the page on your social media. Your support means a lot to me! Thank you very much.
