Hello out there, how are you doing? I hope you and yours are well and if not that you receive all the support you need. My thoughts and prayers are with you!
I can't believe another week is over. It feels more like a lifetime. So many changes and so many lives lost. Let's raise our mugs of our favourite hot beverage and celebrate their lives. May they rest in peace despite everything.
If we were having our favourite hot beverage together, I would tell you:" because I am at home currently healing from my cancer operation, I am watching a lot of TV". I'd also tell you I can't help feeling sad seeing old programs of people travelling, meeting up in cafes or watching a film in the cinema. It feels a little like life will never get back to that. I hope though that this is only my feeling of being trapped in a bad dream rather than a prediction. We will find out eventually.
If we were having our favourite hot beverage together, I would offer you a piece of cake and then ask if you are a blogger. Oh, you are! Wonderful! Please let me know what you have been writing about. You are not? Don't worry because I would like to know which was the favourite blog post you read.

My blogging week started with a short musical trip to Kazakhstan in Come Away with Me to Kazakstan & Beating Cancer. I feel it is more important than ever to concentrate on good news to keep our spirits up. That is why I let you know about a young German sports trainer in We Can Do It but What Day Is It Anyway? Good News Edition 31.3.2020 who gives free exercise lessons from the street to his neighbours on their balconies. Wednesday was just a short encouraging note that you rock in my Wordless Wednesday post.
If we were having our favourite hot beverage together, I would tell you on Thursday I wrote about a program I like to watch. It's called " Pilgrimage - The Way to Istanbul". Seven celebrities walk from Bulgaria to Turkey, discovering their own and each other's faiths. I find it inspiring to see how they think about faith which makes me question my own: What Day Is It Anyway? Thursday 2nd of April Edition. Since most of the world seems to be in lockdown, I try to bring something fun and something musical in my posts. On Friday in
What Day Is It Anyway? April 3rd YouTube Edition it was the Marsh family who made a hilarious COVID-19-Les-Miserables rendition. And of course, I could not have a week without highlighting a climate crisis topic: What Day Is It Anyway? Climate Edition (4.4.20)

If we were having our favourite hot beverage together, I would ask you how you are spending your time. Are you a keyworker and have to venture out? If so you have my and my family's gratitude, and we hope people stay home o make your life easier and most of all, save lives. I would offer you another piece of cake and not talk so much about my troubles. They seem insignificant, considering what you are facing.
If we were having our favourite hot beverage together, you might be tired and wanted to go home. So I'd pack you another piece of cake and send you on your way with my blessings. I hope to see you soon and learn about your day :-)
And why am I writing about my day?
Linda over at “Life in Progress” has started the “What day is it anyway” blog event. She invites us all to share a little of our new daily routines, struggles and successes. She writes:
“Why I’m writing this post:
Because if you’re like me and stuck at home already, or if you’re going to be like me soon, the days of the week are going to be hell to keep track of. We have a wonderful community here on WordPress and all over the Internet as well, and I’m sure many people are feeling nervous and/or isolated. I want to make sure every one of us has somewhere to congregate and someone to talk to.
I want everyone to know that you can start discussions with each other in the comments, and if you’d like to write your own “What Day is it Anyway?” post, you can link to this one. Hashtag #WDIIA.
Let’s keep in touch!
And I can only encourage you to take her up on the offer ? .Here is her post from Saturday.
Happy Sunday despite everyhing!!

Just one more thing before you go: The hospital that is treating me for cancer is fundraising for a dedicated breast cancer unit which would allow same-day diagnosis and better premises for patients and staff.
Please, if you can spare a little money hop over to their Just Giving Page and give as little or much as you can. Or share the page on your social media. Your support means a lot to me! Thank you very much.
