... I would be surprised you would come around with all the restrictions we have to deal with currently. Even better, that this post is a virtual meeting so I can kindly ask: How are you? I hope this new situation everywhere doesn't bother you too much and that you are wise to follow the governments and WHO's advice.
Is it a week since my last post? It feels like a lifetime...
If we were having our favourite hot beverage together, I would invite you to sit down and grab a cuppa and a cookie or biscuit. Do you feel too, that we have lots of time to ponder life, the universe and everything as well as read more? Besides books, I am back to reading more blogs, and I am rather happy about that. It's been a while since I managed to do that.
If we were having our favourite hot beverage together, I would tell you that I had my cancer operation on Friday. But you would see that because I have a rather funny little bottle under my arm to have the fluids drain out from the wounds. Maybe you'd fuss about me, but you needn't. My husband would be so kind as to take care of our beverages and treats. But its kind of you to worry :-) .
I would tell you though that I had scheduled most of my posts for a week or so because I wasn't sure how much I could write. Then we would exchange our ways of dealing with this pandemic and staying at home. I would tell you that it feels rather fitting that I am making a musical journey around the world as we can't travel currently. How wonderful to do that online?
If we were having our favourite hot beverage together, I would tell you that we travelled to Estonia last week. We found out a little about the country and met Tuulikki Bartowski. She is an Estonian accordion player who is rather creative with her instrument. Her song "Tempest in a Teacup" made me feel much better this week.
If we were having our favourite hot beverage together, I would ask you if you know "Filosopha's Word". That is a brilliant blog that you need to follow and read. Her funnies on Monday made my day ;-) .
If we were having our favourite hot beverage together, I would invite you to JoAnna's "Good News Tuesday". That is an event where bloggers share good news. Mine were all musical this week: Gloria Gaynor washes her hands to "I will survive", Korean Pop singers do that too, and Italians sing from their balconies. And I hope no one stops the music.
If we were having our favourite hot beverage together, I would tell you that I don't feel like taking photos at the moment. So my Wordless Wednesday post comprised of old photos about flowers. They were a lovely break from all the scary news on TV and elsewhere. I also shared a beautiful song.
I would ask you if you have a song that gets you through hard times or if you like to take photos.
If we were having our favourite hot beverage together, I would let you know that I went back to old posts on Thursday and Friday. Thursday about wise words from Gandhi.
Yes, we have to deal with a pandemic, but that does not mean that the climate crisis goes away. I do feel that not flying so much for a while will be such a good thing for the environment, and I hope it might make people think a little more about their impact on this beautiful planet. So I shared a video about climate justice on Saturday.
If we were having our favourite hot beverage together, I would ask you what your favourite blog post was this week—both reading and writing it. Then I would hope you would share it with me.
If we were having our favourite hot beverage together, you would say: "Hey bee, you look a little tired!" and I would agree. You would be so kind as to go home, and we would agree to meet again next week. It's virtual so it won't hurt anyone ;-)
Happy Sunday to you all despite everything.

Just one more thing before you go: The hospital that is treating me for cancer is fundraising for a dedicated breast cancer unit which would allow same-day diagnosis and better premises for patients and staff.
Please, if you can spare a little money hop over to their Just Giving Page and give as little or much as you can. Or share the page on your social media. Your support means a lot to me! Thank you very much.
