Hello dear readers, how are you doing? I hope you can enjoy a calm Sunday and rest well. And if you have to work, I wish you a quiet shift.
I like to invite you to have a hot beverage with me. Maybe we could chat a little about how our week has been? Mine has been sort of quiet. For the first time in weeks, I did not have to go to the hospital or a check-up or GP. Work was a little stressful as we were inspected, but at least that's over now.

So I used the time to do some blogging. My blogging project for the next three years is "Come Away With Me Musial Challenge" on "The Bee Writes...". On Mondays I'll lead you to a country in the world and we'll discover a musician from that country. This week we went to Sweden one of my favourite countries on this planet. I introduced you to the metal band "Meshuggah" and their song "Violent Sleep of Reason" and I also told you a little about my cancer journey.
Are you sitting comfortably? More hot beverage of your choice? Here you go! And with it I offer you some good news. I love languages and learning languages. Admittedly I wasn't aware that the humans on this planet have 7000 languages of which 500 are endangered. How sad is that? But fear not because Daniel Bögre Udell created Wikitongue to upload them for all to remember. You can find out more about the whole endeavour here in my Good News post.
If we were having a hot beverage I would tell you that I have enough of wind and rain. As much as I welcomed the rain by the end of last year (we nearly had a drought here in North Norfolk) we had more then enough in February. In fact, it was the wettest February on record in the UK. Unbelievable. Well, it was a little better for one day so I escaped to our front garden and replanted some new plants. The wind was back the next day but that did not stop me from taking a little a video which I shared for my not so Wordless Wednesday post.
If we were having a hot beverage I would ask you who your favourite author is. Hopefully you can tell me one or two I could discover later in the year. One of my favourite author's passed away five years ago and I told you a little about him here at "So much life, so little time". And then we would move on to our favourite artists. Do you have one? I do. It's Pablo Picasso as it happens and you can find an interesting documentary about him here on my Friday post.
If we were having a hot beverage, I would look outside and ponder life for a little while. But not so long for you to get uncomfortable. I'd look at you and ask: "What do you do about climate change?" and if you'd said: "Nothing!" I would invite you to read my "ClimateJusticeSaturday" post about Luisa Neubauer and be inspired to change that.
We would keep sipping our favourite hot beverages and chat about this and that and then it would be time for you to leave. I would thank you for stopping by and give you my blessings. May you have a wonderful new week!
Please stay a little longer and discover music and good news on The Bee Writes... at Wordpress.
You are more into photography? Please find my photo posts for Wordless Wednesday on Bee Wordless... on Blogger. Thanks!
Just one more thing before you go: The hospital that is treating me for cancer is fundraising for a dedicated breast cancer unit which would allow same-day diagnosis and better premises for patients and staff.
Please, if you can spare a little money hop over to their Just Giving Page and give as little or much as you can. Or share the page on your social media. Your support means a lot to me! Thank you very much.
