Dear self-care ninja’s, how are you doing? Are you blown away by storm eric, freeze in the polar vortex or sweat in summer heat? I hope none of it and that you found some time for self-care that suits your needs.
Last week, I introduced you to the new “Mindful Music Monday Mug” feature which is the Skype chat. Unfortunately, no one had time to join me. Don’t worry it will come back next week at the same time and the same day and we are going to have fun some tea-coffee-cocoa-your-favourite-beverage fun!
This week, however, we are going to have only a little post as my husband is on holiday and we are going to enjoy the beach and sort out the vegetable patch. I find gardening very soothing and doing some weeding in the flowerbeds has often helped to reduce my anxiety. If you do not have a garden but feel like trying our gardening have a look if you can join a gardening club or even get an allotment. This way you can not only get some relaxing self-care in but also grow your own fruit and veg. But if that feels too much a pot full of flowers or salad on the balcony or window sill is a wonderful start.

Mindfulness in February
I promised you further resources on Mindfulness throughout February and this week I found an interesting video from the TEDx series. Dr Shaune Shapiro introduces you to how Mindfulness helps you to make positive changes in your brain. YouTube & TEDx says about Dr. Shapiro:

This weeks Music
I encourage you to use this week to start your own mindfulness playlist on whichever service you use for listening to music. Just to sit and listen to music without doing anything is a wonderful way to include mindfulness in your everyday life. You can, of course, combine it with your self-care mug of love to appreciate how far you have come. Find my healing playlist here.
